Paul Daniel Frehley is better known as Ace Frehley, the American guitarist who was a founding member and lead guitarist for the legendary band KISS. Taking on the 'Space Ace' persona when the band turned to costumes and theatrics, Frehley played with the group from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982.

Bon Jovi's 2011 Tour hit the UK earlier this month and having played to a packed-out Hard Rock Calling Festival crowd at London's Hyde Park on Saturday 25th June, the band rolled into the home of Bristol City Football Club, Ashton Gate, last night to deliver a stunning set of greatest hits.

Adele has praised ‘Bon Iver’ as her favourite album of the year, despite there being six months left for other albums to be released. The ‘Someone Like You’ singer sang the praises of Justin Vernon and his band’s self-titled second LP, calling the album “so, so special”.

Michael Jackson did not sing for the episode of ‘The Simpsons’ in which he appeared as a mental patient, it has been discovered. Contrary to belief, the singer was in fact impersonated for a song which appeared on the classic episode of the cartoon, as confirmed by the actress voicing Lisa Simpson

UK rock quartet Brother have been forced to change their name to Viva Brother following a legal dispute from an Australian band of the same name. The Aussie band, who currently perform in the US, threatened legal action against the NME favourites after the band began to gain popularity in America.

Katy Perry has the potential to match a record set by Michael Jackson if her latest single single 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' reaches Number One in the US singles chart this week. If the ‘California Gurls’ singer manages to top the US chart this week she will equal Jackson’s record of having five Number One singles taken from the same album.

James have announced that they will be touring the UK’s most beautiful and premier classical venues later this year - with an orchestra and choir in tow. The Manchester band who’ve sold more than 20 million albums worldwide and sold 35000 live tickets in a matter of hours when they announced their comeback in 2007, will be performing songs from their extensive back catalogue - interpreted for these unique shows by the 22 piece Orchestra Of The Swan and 16 piece choir from the Manchester Consort each conducted by classical composer/conductor Joe Duddell.

Britney Spears has confirmed four more UK dates to her 2011 Femme Fatale World Tour. Spears has prepared an extraordinary show that promises to be her greatest ever, and reaches the UK on October 27th when she plays London's O2 Arena. She will be performing 21 of her smash hits including 2 surprise songs. She says "I can't wait to come back to the UK and perform for my fans there, it's been too long!"

Lady Gaga is being sued by a Detroit legal team who claim that the ‘Born This Way’ singer pocketed cash from the sales of charity wristbands earlier this year. The singer announced the sale of her own “We Pray For Japan” wristbands within hours of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami on March 11th this year, however a Detroit legal network are now claiming that she profited from the charity scheme.

Atmosphere is the stage name of Minnesota rapper/DJ duo Sean Daley (Slug) and Anthony Davis (Ant). Their sixth album, their first in three years, is titled ‘Family Sign’. For the new album Slug and Ant are joined by Nate “The Guitar Man” Collins (guitar) and Erick Anderson (keys). Collins’ guitar work helps give a bluesy, gritty feel to the album alongside Anderson’s piano work adding texture rather than melody. All the while Ant keeps the bands minimalist stripped back Hip Hop sound.

An Ohio DJ has been awarded over $1.2 million in damages after a lawsuit against R&B group the Black Eyed Peas. Orrin Lynn Tolliver Jnr, a DJ from Cleveland, Ohio, won the case after it was deemed that his 1983 single 'I Need A Freak' was sampled illegally in the Black Eyed Peas chart hit 'My Humps'.
